High Performance Valve Keepers for the Yamaha FJ1100/FJ1200/XJ1200/XJR1300

Top Groove Keeper

When doing a valve job on the head, the tip of the valves must be trimmed to keep the proper clearance to provide future adjustment. When the valve is "tipped" the stock keeper is now too tall and will contact the follower/bucket.

These valve keepers utilize a top groove instead of a lower groove to ensure the keeper locked in.

The secondary benefit is you no longer have to shim your valve springs for proper installation height as the keeper is now lowered onto the valve and shimming the spring is no longer required.

Sold in sets of two (2); 16 required per engine.
